The Carnival Conquest is a great family get away for families with smaller children. It's also a great first time cruise for anyone getting into cruising.

We got on board pretty quick. This was actually the quickest that I've ever boarded a ship.

Food and Dining

I was surprised at how bad the food tasted. Usually I would have a good comment concerning carnivals food but this was by far the worst.

Guy's Burger Joint

This was the biggest surprise for me. Guys burgers are usually good but on this particular cruise they were terrible. I thought the first burger was a hit or miss but when I went a second time it was still terrible.

Onboard Activities

It was ok. The pools were always packed but that's to be expected.

Everything was pretty good. The performers, cruise director, shows and the musicians were all good. Good vibes!

Service and Staff

They were ok. Not as much interaction as I'm used to with the exception of the formal night. Our waiter was very cool and engaging. I wish I had taken her name.

Room was pretty clean. Normal wear and tear. Balcony was small.

It was just right for my family. This was a family trip and my siblings had smaller kids. We were able to enjoy each other with everyone being in the same vicinity.

The Conquest was our 9th cruise. We were on in 2019 and loved it. The food was delicious , the ship beautiful and our cabin steward and dinner staff were wonderful. Ports were fantastic. The only complaint would be the shows. Didn't. Iike them at all, but that's not why we cruise.
