Review summary

Carnival is exactly what they claim to be - the fun ship. That means that the crowd is a bit different than Celebrity or Princess or Royal Caribbean. This was my first time on Carnival and unless they have a stellar deal may be my last. The food was subpar, the service was C-, the ship was not well serviced. The other passengers were definitely taking advantage of the all inclusive drink package.

Burgers at Guy Fieri's was amazing - best part of the eating. Also your steakhouse was one of the best on the ocean. The buffet left a lot to be desired. Chef's table was okay - well priced but small portions. Excellent service during the event. Loved the sous chef.

I wish they had been better about removing towels from chairs to make them available for others.

I felt that the steward wasn't very responsive to our needs. I didn't like that they didn't clean the room twice a day like all other cruise lines. Staff on deck were good when we could find them.

No help with luggage. Staff was very rude. Took a long time - we missed our flight. You definitely need to plan for over 2 hours after arrival.

Hello, I was sad to read your review that appears that you didn’t have a good time. I thought when you said Carnival is just what it protests to be “the fun ship” that you were going to talk about a good time. We cruised on the Conquest before and the only thing I remember is that there was never any room for us in either of the swimming pools every day. Hope you find pleasure as you make your cruise change. Thank you for your review.

Royal Caribbean was cleaning rooms twice a day until just this past week. Now once a day except Junior Suites and up. They still get twice a day.

It has been years since any cruise line has serviced the cabin twice a day. You can get a porter for your luggage at the terminal for a fee. I never book a flight before noon when leaving the ship, too many things to go wrong

If you do I'll walk off by yourself then you are a responsible for that unless somebody does have some kind of disability or can't take care of it but with that we don't have the walk off and we let the the crew who takes care of the luggage I mean put the luggage the night before that we disembark. In fact, with the taken care of the cabin all or pretty much The State Room cabin Stewart the only come once a day but honestly if you ask from what they will probably give you a little more
