Review summary

Amazing time with my husband, brother and niece who was a first time cruiser. Can’t wait to do it again this fall. Only issue I had was listening to other cruisers insult staff because they didn’t speak perfect English. It was rude and not funny when they kept mimicking staff. Loved Serenity but didn’t love all the running back and forth screaming by adults who were far too intoxicated. Was happy staff put a stop to it quickly.

Super fast especially if you choose a time after 11 AND show up at your scheduled time or later. 7 minutes from the curb to the ship.

Food and Dining

Food was generally good. Deli sandwiches were excellent. Guy’s always a solid choice. MDR good but I wish they’d shake up the menu a bit. Excellent portion size. Lido was average but a decent amount of choices.

Onboard Activities

Pools too crowded for me but others had fun. Didn’t use fitness center this time but one of my companions enjoyed it. Trivia is always fun but geesh people can we not cheat and use Google? It’s a game! Bean bag toss was fun.

Entertainment

Every cruise I’ve taken since November the excuse is close to the same for the production in the main theater. Something about safety and something happened and we were going to cancel but… Please stop with the excuses. The show was average. Boring at times. The violins and singers etc in lobby and over near casino were great and the comedy club was fun. I enjoyed the cruise director. He wasn’t obnoxious. He was fun and informative.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5

Room steward Ira was nice. Marvic our MDR server and his team were fun, funny and very sweet. Bartenders were much more attentive this cruise compared to last two cruises. Everyone was friendly.

Glad you guys had a great cruise!! I will never understand why some feel the need to put others down. One of my favorite things about each cruise is visiting with crew members and learning about who they are and where they are from. Have met some amazing people along the way and I still keep in touch with one of the crew members from a cruise years ago.

We also enjoyed the Conquest. On of our favorite Ships We saw a bar tender actually tell a guest they didn’t need another drink but water instead, this was on the Glory. Kudos to that staff member.

I glad you enjoyed your cruise is very sad you witness “ugly Americans “ they obviously not know that a cruise is meant to have fun relax make friends not to disrespect anyone that’s not of the same color ,race ,gender an economic status
