Overall very good cruise! Can’t wait for next one on same ship in April.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Food was generally good. Lido buffet was lacking in selection. Deli was very good. Sushi was good, not great. MDR was decent but slow. Definitely smaller portions but I think it was perfect because less waste. Roberto was a great server. If you want more just ask for more! Steakhouse was very good with excellent service. Room service breakfast was a disaster! Food was fine however the two days I ordered the order was almost completely wrong (and I ate my cheerios with a fork!!). Could not order dinner room service like Pizza via App. It always said oops, try again later. They didn’t answer phone when calling. Was looking to relax and chill final night but it was no big deal. Just wish there was a way to post or announce they weren’t doing it.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
We sailed at way less than 50% capacity or so it felt. Not many chair hogs this time around! Plenty of social distancing as long as you stayed away from Lido area. Not sure why that’s where everyone decided they had to be! Sky pool and Serenity area was super quiet with an attentive bartender/server Ari.
I enjoyed walking the track, reading on Serenity and my balcony.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
I did not enjoy shows except the violin players and the rock band wasn’t bad at lobby bar.
Stayed away from most other venues because of Covid (they tended to be areas where people felt masking rules did apply to them. The two shows in the theater weren’t very good. 1st was 80s music the first night that was just way over done to the point of butchering the songs. 2nd show was Rock and I stayed only for the solo guitarist portion. It was okay. Better than first night! I didn’t see the comedy shows.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Staff was excellent doing everything they could to make people happy (people did still complain though). My room steward Dewar was very sweet and always checking on me I was alone. Roberto in MDR was fun and all the steakhouse people were fantastic. Deli staff was exceptionally friendly.
The spa staff, especially Cheryl… amazing!
Ship Quality

Clean clean and more clean! On port day they appeared to be disinfecting the walls on the hallways. Layout was easy to navigate.
Disembarkation

Super easy especially if you use a passport ad your ID! To the curb in 10 minutes. Super easy to find bag.
kelskazoo22, it's funny about deck 5 ...before we went on our cruise I had heard something about seeing the sunflowers. A couple of days during our cruise I remembered about it but didn't know where it was. We went to desk services and asked where we could see the sunflowers. The woman working there had no idea what we were talking about and said she has been working on that ship for a few years. She didn't even bother to ask anyone. We went looking ourselves. There's no way not to see it. We should have reported her. She shouldn't be helping people when she doesn't know herself. We loved it.
The Conquest is the only Carnival ship we have been on and we loved it. Beautiful ship. If you didn’t see Deck 5 please do on your next. It’s called the Sunflower Atrium and it’s beautiful. Make sure to peek in the bar on that deck too. As far as the food, we ate all our dinners snd most breakfasts in the MDR. Delicious all the time. Always plenty of food. We always order at least 3 appetizers each and sometimes 2 entrees. Also, on Carnival, you can order an appetizer as an entree and an entree as an appetizer. It’s great.
