Review summary

Thoroughly enjoyed our 8-day cruise! The ship is older but is clean and has been updated since we were on it in December 2016. The food was exactly as we expected and I must say that this is the only ship where we actually like the Guy's burgers. We loved the new (to us) menu at the deli. There were plenty of activities to keep you busy no matter what you enjoy doing and Matt the cruise director was highly visible around the ship as he chatted with guests, took pictures with guests, and made sure that things ran smoothly while everyone was enjoying their vacation. I will say that our stateroom on the lido deck got too hot one night and our mattress was too hard. But our wonderful room steward, Jose, came to the rescue with a fan to make the room cooler plus he put a mattress topper on our bed that made sleeping much more comfortable. I do advise everyone to purchase a room thermometer and to keep it on the wall in your stateroom. Ours not only shows the current temperature but also shows the high temperature and the low temperature for the last 24 hour period. When Carnival maintenance came to check the a/c in our room, they could not argue with that and proceeded to solve our problem!

I've had this question before and didn't receive any answers. Does the main dining room serve breakfast and or lunch when the ship is in Ports. We will be on the Conquest in March and I heard the buffet gets very crowded. Thank you

Returned on Sunday as well. Jose was also our room steward and was awesome. He put forth effort that made us feel as if we were his main focus. Very special! Enjoyed Matt as the cruise director.

We just returned yesterday on this same cruise and agree 100% with you. We had one of the best cruises yet even with the rough seas this trip out. We were on deck 10 so it wasn't too bad in our cabin although it did get warm at times. Mat was a great Cruise director, especially the last night out disco dancing! What a hoot!
