Review summary

We were not impressed with the menu selections for dining in the main dining room. Longer cruises have better choices on their menus. We did like the room service entrees, just wish you could get a larger selection of food on the menu for delivery as well. We did not try the Seafood Shack as it did not look that appealing to us. Reminded me of walking along a fishing wharf, smelling the seafood before it was cooked turned me off.

Also a lot of people think the higher the room is , the. Better ! That is so wrong ! Mid ship or lower is safer and more stable in rough seas

Bobjoe I do all 2 to 3 week cruises mainly . And the food is the same as on a 3 day cruise it mainly is the person who cooks it , when it , s done

Wow ! Bonnie if you were in the seafood shack eating area and it smelled like seafood derrrrr! What did you expect ? The smell of a BBQ joint ?

Michele1L...I happen to now have 55 cruises with carnival since 1977 and over 400 sea days. The food has changed , yes . But those waiters give it their all . The cooks mainly from India , don't know how to cook and most employees on the ship will tell you that

Why would you take a cruise to have room service, get out of your room meet new people. Or just people watch

And btw. .love the seafood shack..because it reminded me of walking along a fishing wharf and smelling the seafood before it was cooked.

I agree michele1L. I'm seeing a lot of that lately. The thing that really upsets me though is the shipmate that gives a bad or good review and then you see their cruise was like 3 years ago. I wish they would mention the date.

Generally when there’s a post by someone with nothing in their profile ... it’s a bogus post! Especially when it’s a negative one. Just saying...

We enjoyed lots of food on Carnival, including the dining room and the specialty restaurants were quite good, particularly the Steakhouse.

There is a lot better food on the ship then you will find delivered to your room
