Review summary

This ship is very much in need of refurbishing! As frequent cruisers, we were very disappointed in the lack of knowledge by the staff and the indifference of many. The menu hasn’t been updated in many years and the quality is mediocre. We’ve been loyal Carnival cruisers for many years and hope they step up their game.

Old and dated? Interesting as we just got of the Conquest and noted the new carpet smell throughout the ship.

The ship is in general "clean" but decor is not up to date. Carnival needs to get away from the awful salmon peach orange color in every ship and room. My opinion, also had a bad experience, was in Ft Lauderdale shooting before cruise last year and watched people die next to me. Nothing prepares cruise staff for this but their indifference put me off enough I won't be cruising with Carnival again. Just my opinion but ship looks old and dated.

Very surprising to hear. We have been on The Conquest five times. It is one of our most favorite ships and have had nothing but Good Times. We love the layout of the ship and the crew has always been the best.
