Review summary

In all the years I have crows and all the cruise lines I have been on this was the worst debarkation I had ever encountered. We express so we could get off the ship we were never called. We sat in the casino for over an hour and a half waiting finally we went and approached deck zero ourselves what were they going to do with this many people but let us off. The ramp we needed to use to disembark was so steep I could barely get down at as an elderly person and no one try to help us.

Why would You have a safe in the cabin that everyone uses and only one sail and sail&sign card works at a time, four instance if I used my key card to lock the safe I was the only one who could unlock the safe. Which meant we had to walk all around the shop looking for each other if the other person needed to get him there. Also what were you thinking with the decor? Did you take another ship a part and put the bits and pieces in the conquest? Debarkation was a nightmare. We expedited so we could get out of there and we were never called. We eventually went down to zero deck the ramp was in such an incline that it was impossible for the elderly I being one of them to even walk down. We will never do the conquest again and I have already warned our friends to never go on this ship.

Ship tip

The cabin looks like you had disassembled another ship and put all miscellaneous pieces into the cabins. Why would you paint the trim bubblegum pink when the rest of the room is orange and blue?

They tell you specifically to not use your keycard. For that reason. Use a driver’s license.

Other than debarkation how was the cruise? Food? We are also elderly and will be trying our first Carnival cruise on the Conquest. We heard lots of great reviews. Anyway, for your next cruise try Nieuw Amsterdam on Holland America. More of an older crowd. We went last March and loved it. Bring a deck of cards and books, not a lot to do on the ship.
