Review summary

The ship was very clean with several food options. Guy Fieri burgers were great Our cabin was a good size for the price and our steward Johnson did a great job. Cabin cleaned timely. Food was hard to rate because we never were able to make it to the buffet because of the crowds. Which may have been a blessing. We used “Anytime dining “ option which worked out great. Food in dining room for dinner and breakfast was good. However, the steakhouse was excellent. ($35 surcharge). The surcharge was well worth the $. Now the negatives and this is more a reflection on the passengers than Carnival. There was a fight in our hallway the last nite of the cruise. Many of the passengers were rude, ignorant and generally obnoxious throughout the entire cruise. At the pool passengers were allowed to play their own loud music over the public music. Mostly rap. During the disembarkation my wife was physically threatened by another passenger. This will positively be our last short cruise. Our last 2 cruises were less than 7 days (4&5 days) and both the ship was better than the passengers. Lastly more TV channels could be offered if possible and don’t count on the internet.

agreed. I usually do 6 days or longer, however I m going on the Symphony of the Sea in October 2019 for a 4 day. This will be the only short cruise I take and it is doing the week days so I am hoping it isnt that bad

We have sailed Carnival several times. I will never do another 4 day. You barely get your sea legs and it's time to go. Not to mention it's a 4 day drunkathon We have done a few 5 day cruises, but mostly because they were complementary... Not by choice. They are better. Fewer people stay drunk 5 days straight. We prefer 7 day, but look forward to being able to do longer cruises!

That is too bad about inconsiderate people. We have been on eight cruises and love them all. We purposely never have gone on Carnival because we hear it's a party ship and a lot of kids. We finally decide to go on Carnival which is the Conquest that we're going on and I have to hear some bad reviews but then we've heard others that have been really good so I'm hoping for the best. Definitely try a longer Cruise. Our favorite cruise lines are Celebrity and Royal Caribbean. They're both great both have the best food and all the people are very nice. We've never run into any really bad people on any of our cruises.

I am so sorry that you had to put up with so much crap from people who think they are “entitled “because they spent the same amount of money as a great deal of other passengers. We used a travel agent for our first cruise and he told us that a lot of people use a 3 or 4 day cruise as a good venue for the long weekend “ festivities “ to continue. They don’t need a designated driver and most of the staff won’t say anything to them😕. I hope this doesn’t turn you off an Cruising. Like you said, try a longer cruise where the people are there to relax and have fun. They are not there to party hearty. Good luck and Happy Cruising
