Review summary

Maybe because it was my first one, but I honestly thought the Conquest ship was amazing. From the room, staff, entertainment, etc, we had a great time. I do think the elevators could be upgraded, but other than that-loved it.

Seasider welcome (in advance) to the United States. And welcome to cruising!. I am sure that you will love it as much as the rest of us. It sure is a nice Christmas present. We are leaving on December 16th on the Vista. I don't know how difficult it is to do.but have you ever tried to get on a repositioning cruise?

MrCreativity I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your 1st cruise. And that you are now hooked on like most of us. I am going on the Vista in December . It will be my 3rd cruise this year. If I lived closer I am sure that it would be a whole lot more.

I've been on 6 carnival and 1 ncl and carnival is the better brand. I've had friends on rc and they said that the ship was boring. What I really enjoy on carnival is seeing people from all ages and races having fun together! Shouldn't every vacation be like that???

LOL! You're right Seasider. You'll want to move in on the ship for sure! Well, I "Pre" Welcome you to the USA. You'll have a blast. That's the same cruise I just left last week. Take pics!! πŸ›³πŸ’¨

Hey Gingie! We parked next to the Harmony of the Seas in Grand Turk I think. Massive ship. Most say that RC is more laid back...more classy and lowkey, compared to Carnival being more upbeat and party style. You agree? Anyone else?

It was a blast Cross! Definitely something I'll be doing every year.

Did a back to back cruise with my 15 year old daughter this past July on Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas and Carnival Conquest. Had the most fun on the Conquest! It was a wonderful ship.

Seasider...I'm totally hooked. Where are you going? 5night Caribbean?

Nothing wrong with enjoying your first cruise ship. As you continue to cruise, feel free to try the others ships. You will find your own likes/dislikes soon enough. Elevator issues are not only on the Conquest.
