Review summary

Nice to get away. Wish cruises were like they use to be in regards to food/menu and room stewards attending to rooms twice a day, instead of once a day. Most of the staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the ship overall.

Embarkation

Great...good pace...not long waits. One of the best I have experienced.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The menu is not as good as it has been in the past and having items on the menu that you have to pay for that use to be on the menu for one night is not appealing to me. We had some long waits in Your Time Dining on getting food...but the staff was very nice.

Onboard Activities

Bingo, movies

Entertainment

On board shows were great.

Service and Staff

Overall good...some not as friendly as others. Had problem with Pool Servers not coming to top deck for drinks and had to go down a flight of stairs every time to get a drink...not experienced this before...when I asked a server the answer was it is to windy up there. No signs posted on that deck that servers did not come to area.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Cleanliness not a problem, but appeared to be older ship that could use a little updating.

Cabin / Stateroom

Had a rattle in room the whole time...not sure why.

I really wanted to go here, but no very appealing when you get to port...the waterfall we climbed was beautiful and refreshing...guess we should have opted for a beach view and maybe my opinion would be different. Not on my list to return to this port...unless other locations are different.

George Town, Grand Cayman

Loved this port. Loved the beach and the cleanliness of port. More tinder boats were needed to get all to shore and back. Line was unbelievably long to get back to ship...we left late...waiting to get all passengers back aboard. With the limited time you have in port, you would have had to been back at 2 or 2:30 in order to meet a 3:30 departure. I had no problem with late departure, but the line was crazy long. We returned to port 30 minute or so ahead of time...and we got on boat at 3:35 to head to our ship.

Disembarkation

The flow was good...staff keeping passengers moving. Great process.
