Review summary

If you've been cruising on other boats such as Royal Caribbean, Norwegian etc. Then this isn't a boat you will enjoy! We were supposed to leave at 4pm and we didn't leave until after 6! There wasn't any nice shows on the boat but the comedy show and karaoke and a dance class. There were MANY raffles and basically not much entertainment like other ships I've been on! The pools were super small and always packed because of the lack of activities! So pretty much my husband and I were the only people not in a swimsuit the whole trip because we thought it would be things to do other than sit at the pool the whole time on the boat! I kept wondering why is everyone always at the pool it ls because there's not really anything to do! There was mini golf on the top deck couldn't play bcuz the wind will blow u and the balls, there was a basketball court and volleyball court but there were no balls for either sport! This is our first and last trip with Carnival! The best part was getting off the boat in Jamaica and the Cayman islands other than that this boat isn't for people who like cruising on a boat that entertains! This boat is a NO NO!!!!

Cabin was OK our steward Purtra was great and very attentive and always addressed us by name when he saw us in the halls!

I've sail Carnival RC and Norwegian of the three Carnival is by far the best for the dollar. RC will nickel and dime you to death. Norwegian out priced themselves to the point of rediculess. The entertainment is a matter of luck on all of them depending on the particular cruise your on not the ship or the cruise line

We never left port until around 8:30. Just sat at bar having drinks. We made the best of it. Not Carnivals fault.

How can you compare to other lines because I looked and this is your only cruise and there is always something to do all over the ship ð¢ and cruises ð¢ are just not for everyone I have been on the Conquest and 4 other people went on it before I did and they also loved it and one is even doing it again for a second time and they a seasoned cruisers that have been on other lines and told me this is one of the best so far and I have to agree them and that is why I took their advise and went on the Conquest and I got more than my money's worth and that why I booked a second cruise with Carnival.

Carnival ships do entertain but don't charge extra like alot of other cruise lines which charge for everything.Every Carnival cruise has different selections ,generally the bigger the ship the more there is to do.Pools on all cruise lines are typically small for the amount of people.Its not a land based resort with a private beach.The ship has entertainment food and a way of seeing alot of places in a short time.

Please note this is a ship...not a boat. There are tons of things to do. You just have to choose to do them.
