Review summary
Favorite part of cruise -
We liked the family friendly culture of Carnival cruise line. This is our 3rd cruise with Carnival. We have 2 small kids who love going to Camp Carnival. We loved our balcony cabin on this cruise compared to our cabins from previous cruises. It was spacious and well lit. Room Service was very good as well.
Room for improvement -
This is our 3rd cruise with Carnival and I felt that they are trying to cut cost offering less variety in food. The Lido deck buffet lacked variety. Also they introduced a seafood section on the Lido deck where the food was available for purchase. It seems they are encouraging guests to buy food on the cruise by creating long waiting lines at other food sections.
Would you recommend -
I would encourage you to also compare experience with Royal Carribean cruise and then decide. Jamaica and Cayman Island are great locations to visit.

Ship tip
At Grand Cayman - I will recommend not buying beach excursion from Carnival, instead take a taxi to 7 mile beach for $4 per person one way and enjoy the free beach. You could also buy drinks and food for reasonable price at the beach. Carnival offers the same for $85 pp.
