Review summary

This is our 7th cruise and first with Carnival. We decided on this company for the itinerary and price. We made stops in Roataan, Grand Cayman, Cozumel and Belize. The weather was awesome. Unfortunately the food experience reminded us that "you get what you pay for".

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

They kept the bare minmum at the Lido. Mostly salad items and 2-3 entrees. The beef at the carving station was tough and fish and chicken dishes were salty. At leaset the vegetables and fruits were good. HArd to mess those up. I would stick with Guy's Burger joint. Very good. The pizza place had strange and short hours. I can't comment on that. The desserts were kind of a joke. The same sponge-type cake layered with pudding? The reacurring theme was no flavor, keep it cheap.

Entertainment

Wow. The dance review was high school quality. and where was the sail away party?

Service and Staff

Great but not really over the top.

Ship Quality

Clean and in good repair. No overflowing trash cans. No foul odors.

Cabin / Stateroom

Clean and it stayed that way for the week. I didn;t give 5 stars because the matress was as hard as a rock and lumpy.

Pros: The boat was safe and clean

Cons: The food
