this was to be a 2 person birthday celebration but no recognition by carnival or vacation outlet. after 2 days, capt. staff came and locked our doors adjoining balconies and said it was "safety " issues they had to be closed. We chose these rooms because of this fact and paid extra for balconies that adjoined. captain staff very short and matter of fact. not willing to compromise.
dining was in monet dining room all the way to back of ship. food was just average, nothing special. Tried sushi-worse than average. a/c did not keep up with temperatures in state rooms. asked for ice several times, got it twice a day no matter what.
