Review summary

Not worth spending money. Totally disappointed. Can't believe we even consider going on this ship. They had no dressing codes. People were wearing cloths that was embarrassing to look at through the ship. Same boring food throughout the day from breakfast till dinner. No variety. Main buffet area and some other areas of the ship had a terrible smell.

The main buffet on lido marketplace had the same type of food for breakfast, launch and dinner. No variety at all. There was a terrible smell on the lido deck throughout the duration of the cruise. If you want variety of food then you have to go to the restaurant that you have to pay for. Very disappointed and would not recommend to anyone and will not go on carnival cruise line anymore. Not worth spending money on this cruise line.

it was ok. Not that impressive. The elevator had no AC and too crowded. One elevator got stuck with passenger in it and One elevator was shut down throughout the cruise. Some of the restroom did not have soap most of the time.

Ship tip

Dont sail on Carnival Celebration. I would not recommend anyone. Royal Carribean is a better choice for the amount of money you would spend

Not sure what your expectations for this cruise (or any cruise) were. We sailed two weeks before you. How can you give the food 1 Star? There is such a myriad of included food choices, so many we didn’t get a chance to try them all—Chibang, Cucina del Capitano, the Street Eats options, Blue Iguana Cantina. We ate in the Lido Marketplace for most of our meals, and there were many, many different (delicious) choices. No smell either. The comedy acts were excellent, and the musical Amor Cubano was so good. And the ship itself is just beautiful. To be honest, your review makes it sounds like you really should have just stayed home as nothing would please you.

Why would they need a dress code this is vacation we had a blast on celebration last year going on Vista this year You may do better on a different cruise line as carnival is known as the party ship

We loved the Mardi Gras so much that we booked the Celebration for 3/3/2024, it was another 5 star Carnival cruise 🛳 good luck with a different cruise line.

Sorry to hear. It seems that Csrnivzl is definitely not for you. Maybe try Celebrity next time. But my family sailed in April, and we loved the Celebration. We can't wait to go back. We loved everything about this boat.

Carnival isn't for everyone, obviously you are one of those people! We are Diamond and love Carnival and all the wacky people who sail on CCL. The Celebration is a fantastic ship and worth every dollar spent.

While Carnival has a different clientele than some other cruiselines, I would think you would have known that. Also, sorry to inform you, but most cruiselines don't change the sheets for cruises shorter than 8 nights. We were on Celebration last year and loved it. There are other free food choices on the ship like Shaqs Chicken, Guy's Burgers and the Blue Iguana mexican grill and Guy's Pig and Anchor Smokehouse had a free breakfast and lunch menu. So you are misleading by saying there were no other free food choices.

I understand what you're saying regarding Carnival because I've been on over 25 cruises and the worst one by far was on the Carnival miracle. Awful buffet and food in general, people dressing like they were either selling themselves or in a nightclub. A total four-day booze cruise. AWFUL!!
