The Carnival Celebration was a beautifully layed out ship with lots of entertainment and for a large ship it didn't seem at all crowded. Lots of outdoor spacing and there was never a problem finding a pool chair.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We were there at the scheduled time and was on the ship in less than 10 minutes. They were organized and everything well planned.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Specialty restaurants were great. I was skeptical of doing the buffet since COVID but when walking in there I found that everything was neatly and so clean. The food has improved over the years. Dining room was just as good.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Fitness center was clean with many work out rooms. We spent a lot of time in the Thermal Suite Spa which I was a little disappointed in how they floor plan. The women/men's locker rooms were outside the suite so you needed to take your key with you to get in and out. Other ships have their Thermal Suite over looking the ocean (big windows) so when you relax in your chair after using the steam rooms, saunas and thermal pool you can see the ocean. The Carnival Magic has one of the best Thermal Suite in my opinion.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
OMG the funniest comedy shows with great comics. The outside DJ (lido deck) was awesome playing so many old 80's/90's songs with a mixture of new. Carnival Kitchen was great to take a cooking class.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Friendly and Professional what more can I say about the staff and service. Since COVID things have changed but the staff is still awesome.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Great layout with more outdoor spacing which always guarantees everyone a beach chair on either the lido deck or above.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Great location and not noisy at all. We were close to the elevators/stairs but not so close that you heard lots of noise. We were 2 decks from the lido deck/restaurants.
Ship tip
Get there at the scheduled time to embark and everything will go smoothly.
We always get an early flight home (11:00 a.m.) and always carry our bags off the ship which isn't bad at all. There are plenty of cabs waiting and we got to Miami airport by 8:30 a.m.
