Review summary

Cruise was very nice. The staff was great. This ship has so much to see and do you could not ever do it all. Bolt was a lot of fun. Loved that the non smoking section was really separated from the smoking section in the casino.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Embarkation started a little late. There were a lot of people who got off late from the cruise before us. Even priority boarding didn’t start till 10:00. Once boarding started it went fast. My tip for this port is to arrive early to avoid the traffic and get a good parking spot if your driving.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
So many choices on this ship. We ate in the MDR every night. Some nights were great some not so great. Melting cake was always good. Loved the French fry only stand. It was a little annoying that the ice cream, hot chocolate, coffee and tea are all closed by 11:00 pm. I think the coffee, tea and hot chocolate should be 24 hours but that my personal opinion.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Bolt was a lot of fun. So many activities everyday it was hard to decide what to do some days.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The Shows we saw were good. Comedians were ok but not as good as my prior cruises. We found it odd that the 80s band in the pig & anchor didn’t know the words to the songs and had to read them off tablets. We Really enjoyed the deal or No deal games on the ship. It was a lot of fun. I hope other ships start doing this.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff was fantastic. They work so hard and are always friendly and smiling. Our cabin steward Josef was wonderful. Fun squad staff was excellent especially Gabby and Eddie.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Beautiful ship. Very clean. I love that there is so many different areas to sit and relax on the decks as well as throughout the ship. Even though this ship had over 6000 passengers it spreads things out enough that you don’t feel over crowded except for show times. The center stage area is not set up well and seating is difficult to see the stage in several areas. Thankfully they have monitors to watch if you can not see well.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin was very nice. Love the new shower door and slider to the balcony. Bathroom was definitely cramped very hard to change or dry off after a shower. Love our balcony cabins but this one you can always hear noise and music from the bar downstairs starting at 7am and lasting till after 2:00am. Good news is you can not hear any outside noise inside the cabin it was very quiet.

Ship tip

Beautiful ship. Be prepared to walk a lot bring comfy shoes.
