Ship: Carnival Breeze

Another nice cruise aboard the Breeze. For those on a funship budget, this seems to be about as good as it gets. Aside from a very noisy room 12008, All went very good. And, I'll add, the hotel director took care of us nicely when he found out about issue. I really only experienced CD Schwartz at the Love and Marriage Show. He is a wild man.

Ship: Carnival Breeze

I am kind of an inexperienced Cruiser but I felt like the ship was nice and clean the food was great the staff was excellent my only two complaints were the elevators we're always going up and seem like it was hard to get one going down not sure why and disembarkation was super slow and awkward nowhere to sit and wait for your floor to be called I literally stood for 2 hours waiting for my floor to be called not my most favorite part of the cruise

We have been on the... by msxenia

Sail date: /
Ship: Carnival Breeze

We have been on the Breeze twice. Due to a scheduling problem, we had to switch cruises. For cruise number 2, they put us in Spa room 12008. It is next to weight area in the gym. All day long we had to hear weights banging. It made reading and resting very difficult. Never book this room! The food was fair and not memorable. The music was standard. We like to go each night to the Alchemy bar. It seems the bartenders are over worked and they can be unfriendly. The penny pinching from Carnival is noticeable and disappointing. Every cruise is different, this last cruise on the Breeze was a little boring. Hoping the next one is better.

Fun with friends and family by anniebananie

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Breeze / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We had a mixed party of 28 people from age 5-55. Everyone enjoyed the ship, its activities, and the shore excursions. The lively atmosphere and ability to stay up late just talking in chairs on the deck or in the hot tubs or lounges without security telling people to “go to bed” (our experience on Royal with yiung adults who “looked under 18” but were in fact in their 20s) reminded us why we love Carnivale for travelling with groups of families. Guys burgers and the Indian food fantastic. Pizza shack great and nonstop strawberry yogurt (instead of limited hours) added to our enjoyment. All staff on ship friendly and helpful. We had someone whose mother passed away on land while we were onboard and they gave free access to internet and phone. We wont ever forget our experiences aboard Carnivale Breeze (Following Schwartz the cruise director on social media).

First Time Cruising Woes by HelloKittyFan

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Breeze / Destination: Caribbean - Western

If you as the reader are into gambling (the casino), drinking alcoholic beverages (patronizing the numerous bars and alcohol buying opportunities), or wanting to take over the "naked cowboy (cowgirl) job in NYC by trying out your wardrobe (or the lack of it) on the ship then a Carnival Cruise if for you. Otherwise, maybe not. We used the parking/shuttle service, please remember to tip. We used a porter at the cruise terminal, please tip. At embarkation the computers were down, so we had to do everything twice. With a screaming child the whole time. After boarding we went to the Lido Deck. The food needs seasoning (i.e. herbs and spices) and the desserts need sweetening. The food on the buffet is comparable to a regional cafeteria chain (in this case Furr's). The food in the restaurant is way better. Do not be in a hurry, from appetizer to dessert it took a little less than 2 hours to complete the meal. My husband enjoyed the burger joint. We also enjoyed the Blue Iguana Cantina. Ice cream is good and 24 hours, as is the pizza. The pizza is good if you can get one of the four people back there to actually serve any. There are four people back there "doing" things and yet there is no pizza on the counter, hmmm ? Beverages - The coffee is lethal - super strong. If you like Espresso, then you are all set and will be one happy camper. If not, avoid, its hard to fix it. If you like colored tasteless water, then you will like the tea. The lemonade was nice and tart, but not sweet (sweeteners both natural and artificial are provided). I absolutely loved the Orange Passion Fruit Guava Cocktail that was ONLY available at breakfast. Bring a trash can type tumbler and fill it for the day, 'cause after breakfast is over you can't get it until the next morning. Camp Ocean - Camp Ocean is broken down as follows: 2 - 5, 6 - 8, 9 - 11. The 2 - 5 group should be broken down even further 2-3's and 4-5's. I have a 2 1/2 year old grandson that is very much a 2 year old - lively, rambunctious, and not potty trained. He nearly got kicked out the first day due to running and "touching" other kids. He's 2 1/2. He goes to daycare during the week with other 2 - 3 year olds. I guess they wanted a zombie child. We dropped him off at 10:00 am and picked him up about 12:30 pm because he takes a nap around midday. We were given the warning that if he continued the above mentioned behavior that he would not be able to be there anymore. After he got up from his nap, we asked him if he wanted to go back and he refused. He refused the next morning and by day 3, I turned in my phone. We did go for family fun time 5:00 - 6:00 pm Thursday and Friday. There was no family time on Saturday (why, I don't know). Stateroom - shampoo and shower gel are provided. Hot water in plenty, toilet and sink work great. Beds are comfortable and room temperature can be adjusted. TV is okay. You are not cruising to watch TV. No waste basket liners so be aware of what you are putting in the trash. Do not open big bottled water or you "buy it". Order bottled water beforehand online to have been delivered to your stateroom prior to your cruise. You get a good deal and you don't have to lug it on board. We did not use the Room Service, but if you do, please tip. Muster drill/Debarkation instructions - attend and follow all instructions. You hold everything up if you don't. Debarkation - follow all instructions and rules for an easy and stress free "getting off the ship" experience. If you use a porter for your checked bags, remember to tip. If you use the parking shuttle service, remember to tip. Overall, I would have enjoyed my cruise better if I did not have my under age 4 grandchild with me. The ship and its activities are in my opinion just too much for little ones, infants exempted. Remember to bring a ton of sunscreen and use it liberally. I would also suggest bringing small quantities of OTC pain relievers, gas-indigestion-diarrhea meds, as well as your own prescriptions. You don't need a 90 day supply of your blood pressure medicine for a 7 day cruise. A small power bar (extra outlet/surge strip) is recommended as there is only one outlet. There is a hair dryer already in the stateroom. Be prepared for motion sickness even if you do not get seasick. There are multiple applications that work very effectively in addition to or in lieu of dramamine. Be courteous, be polite, even though you will not be seeing most, if not all of these people ever again, they are after all people.

Had a wonderful time on... by TheLillys

Sail date: /
Ship: Carnival Breeze

Had a wonderful time on the Breeze the first week of May. The weather was perfect. We enjoyed the shows, the comedians were great. The deaf interpreter made the shows even more enjoyable...I learned some new signs during the late night comedy shows. LOL! (An interpreter isn't there except when requested by a deaf passenger). The food was fine. I did order lobster in the MDR for $20 more and it wasn't worth it. Sea day brunch was fabulous. The hot tubs weren't crowded, and the pools were so nice. I love to cruise and can really find nothing to complain about. Except my brand new fan was confiscated from my baggage. I got it back at the end of the cruise. First time in 5 cruises that happened.

I loved this ship! My... by Jenni06

Sail date: /
Ship: Carnival Breeze

I loved this ship! My last cruise was on the carnival liberty and the breeze topped that ship plus more! The kids loved the putt putt, bean bag toss and the water works. I would advise wearing swim shoes at the water works cause kids were constantly slipping when they would exit the waterworks. Some type of rug or mat would prevent this hazard. Guys bbq was sooo good and the Mac and cheese was the best ever! Potato salad was delish! Movie nights were great and family oriented. There was lots to do on this ship for the young and old. Library was fully stocked with games and plenty of room inside. My only problem on this ship was that someone must have been smoking in their room cause fumes of cigarette smoke somehow came threw our bedroom vents. I had to open my balcony door and put a shoe to keep the door open and vent my room out. It’s real sad that this ship will be leaving and I will have to find one similar.

Wow, the boarding process is... by jay

Ship: Carnival Breeze

Wow, the boarding process is so GREAT. Our boarding pass time was 12:00 - 12:30. We arrived 11:50 and were at Guy’s Burgers at 12:15. Overall, a great time. Only disappointment (NOT with Guy’s Burger) food was bland for us. Shoutout to: Dining team: Somchai, Ben and Yuparat — always greeted by name and attentive to our needs. We ensure that we were in their section, even if we had to wait. Room Steward: Jason — always greeted us by name. Refrigerator was not working properly and Jason was able to replace. Our shower was not draining and Jason got it serviced. Fun shop: Carlos & Rehan. So helpful in making our selection in jewelry. In fact EVERY ONE in this shop was fun to be around and knowledgeable. Cherry on Top: Mel went out of his way to service us with bottle holder to take with us off the ship and had it delivered to our room.
