Overall, I was very underwhelmed with my first time on a cruise ship. There were several things on the itinerary throughout the day but, most were sales pitches or trivia. I felt like there could have been more music nights on the ship deck where people can dance and enjoy themselves, like the first day we left the port.

Food and Dining

The food and drink was probably the best part of the cruise

I was very disappointed in the lack of options that were provided for just the adults. The pool was small and there wasn't really a place for just adults to get away. They also closed the pool and hot tubs early at night. I went to get in at 11:30 p.m. and they were already shut down for the night. Very disappointing. A lot of the itinerary options were basically sales pitches. They had a girls night with free cocktails but it was at a fine jewelry store where you were pressured to buy their jewelry.
Entertainment

The Bands that I saw was amazing! I also went to the piano bar and saw one of the comedy shows. They were very entertaining
Children's Programs
Did not have children while on the cruise

Other than the rancid smells down the hallway on occasion, everything was always nice and clean, especially in our rooms.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our rooms were cleaned very nicely by the staff. However, we were right next to the service room and there was constant banging, rolling of carts, and items being slammed into the walls. It was very hard to sleep at night with this constant noise. I have recordings of some of the noise that went on throughout the middle of the night. Along with that, we had extremely loud, drunk, and noisy neighbors a couple rooms down that were screaming down the hallways after midnight. Needless to say, did not get much sleep
We did the submarine Excursion and it was amazing. We went 100 ft below the ocean surface and saw all types of marine life. The staff on the Excursion were friendly and funny.
I feel like the disembarkation was extremely unorganized. The first group that was called upon, a couple held up the line for approximately 45 minutes. I feel as though if somebody is holding everyone else up from exiting the cruise line, they should have to wait for everybody else to disembark.
The rule of thumb is to get a room that boarders enough room on all four sides to cut down the noise. Do not get a joining room because you can hear everything in the next room. Thanks for sharing
Sorry you weren’t able to get some sleep due to galley noise. Sounds like you booked a guaranteed cabin where the cruise line choses your cabin location. We’ve made the mistake of booking a cabin under the galley and had the same experience. We now always pay the extra to choose our location. Never under galley or pool deck, theater. Hope you give it another try.
