Review summary

Literally the worst cruise EVER!! No staff, food was terrible. The people on board throwing food, fighting, screaming all hours of the night! Playing their loud rap music all hours of the night! Literally OAK CLIFF DALLAS on a boat! If Carnival caters to this type of people they will go bankrupt!

Those are some bold statements. I am not sure what people you are referring to when you said that is who carnival caters too.

I believe your review, if others do not. It is becoming a sad trend to see disregard for your fellow passengers on carnival ships. I hope and pray this is not the case for us in January when we leave, but last time on carnival it was. Why can’t people just be respectful? Do not be loud at 3 am, don’t fight, pretty simple things to ask for IMO.

Sorry bout all that. No staff would be cool. I could cook and booze it up all I wanted. Need someone to drive though. I eat my food, throwing is wasting. No rap for me. I like death metal.

Dang I'm from Oak Cliff and we board this Saturday. My parents are coming as well. They still live there. I promise we listen to country music as well. We don't throw food and are pretty good people.sorry about your experience.

It seems that all of your issues were with shipmates, and as others have said - behavior you’re describing ends up on YouTube. Since that doesn’t seem to be the case, perhaps you’ve embellished somewhat do to the fact you didn’t have the best time. Shorter cruises lend themselves to a wilder crowd. That’s just how it is- it’s a cheap long weekend. Take longer trips, you’ll sail with people that have saved and planned for the trip- they tend to be more responsible.

Somehow I feel your review would have been different if the music being played was country instead of rap. I respect each person’s right to give a review of their personal experiences onboard. Generalities, however are really broad and a disservice to Carnival and their guests.

@MichaelW well said, I read any reviews the way you say. More people who are dissatisfied will review, regardless of the forum. Some of the descriptions used are classist and I’d never speak about anyone that way.

Hate you didn’t enjoy your cruise. Another cruiser posted a review of the same cruise and enjoyed themselves. You can find things you don’t like anywhere you go. Some of your statements are pretty bold and tell me you are not a cruiser whose review means anything to me. For those reading reviews, ask yourself, does the reviewer sound like you? If not, pass on their comments and move along. Each cruiser will enjoy their cruise as much they allow themselves to do so.

Thanks for the review. This seems to be the trend of cruising now. Try a seven day or longer cruise on a newer ship for a better experience
