I also came off Mardi Gras July 30th when testing required with COVID and I have all 4 shots. No one is immune! I carried and used hand sanitizer the whole time sat away from people when I could it just happens! My husband also tested positive but my three adult kids were just fine?

I got Covid when they WERE requiring testing. It just happens. It just spreads easily these days. I hope your feeling better.

Sooo, what good would a 3 day covid test have done? You could have tested negative 3 days before and could have still been exposed in the 2 days after your negative test before you even boarded the ship.
