This was a birthday cruise for my daughter and me, she’ll be 3 in a few days and my birthday is just after that. Understandably, toddlers are not a group that Carnival is really catering too, but she’s super easy to entertain and we had a blast. Room service was amazing and very needed for early morning coffee!
Embarkation

Lines moved quickly, didn’t ever wait too long. We had to test my daughter at the port, very easy and quick.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We ate in the dining room every night and really enjoyed it. The food was much better than when I was last on the Breeze in October (and I enjoyed it then!). The cakes in the Lido Market were excellent, sea day brunch was fantastic (get the 12-hour French toast). The only complaint I have is that the dessert selection at dinner in the MDR was pretty bare. We didn’t get Guy’s burgers as the line was always so long, but the Huevos Rancheros from Blue Iguana is very good. The food was great!
Onboard Activities

Fitness center is well equipped, but it’s pretty hot in there. We enjoyed the pools, swam in the Beach Pool twice a day with my almost 3 year old. I’ve seen people complain about all the kids in the pool, but we enjoyed everyone. If you have very young children, go to the pools right when they open at 8 am, can stay until it gets busy around 9:30.
Entertainment

Only went to half of the “Deal or no deal” show and we had such a great time! We didn’t play, but sat up in the audience and everyone got really into, including my toddler!
Service and Staff

Everyone was kind and friendly and working hard. Dinner servers were lovely and VERY busy, room steward so kind. Would ask when my daughter was napping, arranged all her toys, so sweet.
Ship Quality

So clean, wow. I do think the breeze lacks places to relax. There’s not really anywhere that I’ve found to sit for a minute. Indoors is pretty hectic and mostly just hallways to get somewhere. Probably just used to other ships…
Cabin / Stateroom

Cove balcony, it was awesome. We sat out there all the time, my daughter loved it. Really recommend it.
Ship tip
If traveling with toddler who’s potty trained, bring some kind of collapsible toddler toilet because the toilet seats are so wide it’s hard for a little kid to use.
We went to Nachi Cocum for the morning and LOVED it. The beach is beautiful, the pool is awesome, the service is great. We never had to hunt someone down to get a drink and everything came so quick. It’s also very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend.
We ate breakfast and got in line at 8:45, moved fast. We checked our bags the night before, they were easy to find and we got out in probably 20 minutes.
