Review summary

I didn’t sleep, the buffet was awful, the whole ship was sick for a day, fights broke out while trying to get off the ship. All in all I won’t be cruising this cruise line again.

The only good food is Guy’s Burger Joint and the specialty Italian restaurant. The buffet is pale in comparison to another cruise line I’ve sailed.

Cookie is the best cruise director ever!! The two shows were amazing and so were the comedians on board.

There should be a warning about all the noise you will hear being in the front of the ship and how sick you will feel. I didn’t sleep one night while on the ship. While I know the weather can not be controlled, every passenger was sick for a whole day and should be refunded for that day.

Ship tip

Do not get a room in the front or back of the ship if you can help it. Spend the extra money for the specialty dining because the buffet is disappointing

Well we book mid or forward. Never had a problem and never been sick. Just wondering how you knew every one on board was sick for a day?

Never had any real problems with Carnival we stop sailing out of Miami because we didn’t like the crowd that port seems to attract but no real problems we just about always go end of November or first week December so that might make a difference we have our first 3 day booked for Nov 18 will see how that goes

We were on the same ship 2 weeks before you and I think everything was great. If there were any fights we were not aware of them. My only disappointment was the fact we had a balcony (which I love I might add) but we were above the bar and while we were trying to sleep we couldn't because of the beating of the drums. The one and only disappointment 😞

Only been on a Carnival ship once about 15 years ago. I also said never again and gave up on sailing out of Galveston. Now there are better choices and you might like RCL or Princess better.

Thanks for the review. Sounds like cruising isn’t for you. Most people love it. If you do cruise again, pick a cabin location that is mid-ship, on a lower deck that has other cabins above, below and around it. Also do not cruise during Spring Break and book a cruise of 7 days or longer for a better experience.
