Review summary

Because of Hurricane Grace, we had cancel Cozemel. There was two days if rain which caused all outdoor activities to be canceled or moved inside. Luckily my son bought some board games for us to play.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Embarkation was terrible! Although everyone was assigned a boarding time, it was still a hurry up and wait. It took an hour and a half to get on the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Food across the board was mediocre at best. Believe or not the scambled eggs was the yoke only. We ordered fried oysters in the dinning room and it turned out to be small shrimp and fish balls. The deli was great and of course the pizza. The steakhouse seemed to serve poor quality steaks. Couldn't wait to get home and eat some real food.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5

Entertainment

2 out of 5
Comedy club was awesome, while the stage shows was somewhat amature.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Can't say enough good things about the staff everyone was awesome and eager to be back at work

Ship Quality

4 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Cabin was small, considering this is the first time without a balcony. The beds were very uncomfortable.

Ship tip

Bring a book to read because after the third day you'll get bored 😴.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

Has to be the ugliest port in America. It's more of an industrial port than your average port.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

Appreciate your review of a recent sailing. Sorry it didn’t meet your expectations. Sailing during the peak of hurricane season often results in port cancellations.

Wow,we wereon the Breeze a few weeks ago ,first timeout of Galveston and the port looked like a working port so not sure how it's the ugliest port in America , we had great food ,staff was amazing, shows were good ,and was never bored, its all about what you make it, looking forward to being back in Galveston in October on the Vista this time!

Some people would do anything to be on a cruise ship right now with all that is going on. Its hard to believe it was that terrible. Oh well. Maybe you should wait awhile before going again. The next experience hopefully will please you. Sorry your cruising was not a good memory

Okay, I re-read your review. It wasn't all negative.

Wow! You mean you couldn't ONE thing positive to say? What a shame. Everything could not have all bad.

Wow, the ugliest port in America. They could clean it up if they got rid of all that shipping, ship servicing, and other actual port related functions.

Sorry about the hurricane

Sorry you had a bad trip. I was on that same cruise and had a fantastic time. Food is always a hit or miss. Cruise lines will never port with a hurricane approaching.

Ouch! That was a bit harsh about Galveston.
