Review summary
To start with we booked our flight thru Carnival, and they were the worse travel arraignments we have ever had. We have cruised with Carnival since 2001 and have previously had a great experience. This time our room was perfectly fine and our room Stewart did an excellent job, however the dining room had some real issues. We had to wait an over an hour to be seated on the first elegant night, then the service was so slow that we missed the shows we were looking forward to seeing. We waited at least 15minutes in between courses. In the end our waiter was running around with plates of food just handing them out to guests that did not request them. The overall quality of the food and service was very disappointing. I had to seek out the MaitreD' to complain about the quality of my food. We are not sure we would go with Carnival again.

I can't wait me & my fiance are heading out on the breeze. August 14. We went on our first cruise last march. We loved it. We both got lucky and hit jackpot the first day. So the cruise was great. Thank god. Because it helped get this second cruise. But we love it so much we are going to cruise every year. Maybe some time soon we could go on a longer than a week. I don't know how long they go out. But we plan on going to all your ports. 20 year's from now i hope to have takeing hundreds of cruises .somewhere with carnival. You all are great.ð¢

On our previous 11 cruises with Carnival, "Elegant Night" is always an issue. The early diners arrive late and it is hard to get the orders served and the tables cleared before the next seating.I guess many passengers wanted to get dressed at a leisurely pace and have pictures made before eating.I feel sorry for the waiters on these nights. My suggestion - if dressing formally isn't a priority, arrive on time to the dining room and be patient with your servers. They are serving a ton of meals every time the MDR doors open! The food has always been good in the MDR and if you don't like what was served, ask for a change.BTW - we are "senior" cruisers, love kids on board but avoid school breaks, and LOVED the Breeze!Hope everyone boards with a great attitude of gratitude for the wonderful staff on these ships!!
