You can only bring canned water or soda onboard.  No bottled drinks.  They have bagels onboard at breakfast, unless they are packaged Thomas Bagels they will likely be confiscated.

'Food Items must be pre-packaged and unopened; homemade items or pre-cooked foods will not be permitted onboard'  you can try to sneak it on; but don't get mad at them if they find it and throw it away

You can't buy water.  You must order it from Carnival pre-cruise.  You can bring whatever non-alcoholic drink you want in a can.  As long it's 12 ounces or less.
