Too few stops after Princess Cays was aborted and Grand Cayman taken away but overall the cruise was relaxing although I won’t be cruising in Caribbean again during Spring Break week too busy and standards of dress and behaviour were a lot lower than week before.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
The Covid Testing requirement makes for a stressful start but the amount of staff available at the terminal for embarkation was fantastic and I thought they did a really good job there (our first cruise)
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Thought the quality of drink and food was very good however, would have liked to have seen more ethnic choices, Thai, Indian, Chinese, Malaysian etc More European beers and Ciders would be good also
Entertainment
3 out of 5
This was worst area just starting back no big shows but I am sure will get better Liam Stewart was in as the Piano man
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The attentiveness of the staff was excellent and would give this a 6 if I could ……..sensational service
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Although an older ship it was clean and well
Designed. The Deck 15 large pool
Area looked a little untidy at times when I walked past but I didn’t use that Love the Outrigger bar and small pool at rear of ship and we used that area all the time. Never really went any further forward.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Would
Have this cabin again in a heartbeat. Far enough away from elevator but close enough to be handy Straight up Elevator gets you to Buffet and Sun bathing deck immediately
Ship tip
Book Sanctuary sessions and speciality restaurants early
The testing provided for disembarkation and onward flight to Canada could have been better organized in advance so that the account with testing company could have been set up before leaving ship. As it was, dozens of customers had no wifi and couldn’t arrange for the test result email to arrive. This caused stress
Appreciate your feedback. All it takes is cruising one time during Spring Break to learn that valuable lesson. Sometimes I forget. Glad you managed to enjoy your cruise anyway!
