Review summary

The Princess Caribbean ship was very beautiful, and we enjoyed the entertainment especially in the atrium.

Embarkation

Once inside terminal, female personnel got my husband a wheelchair while I checked us in the special assistance area.

Food and Dining

Main dining food was just average. Didn't go to any specialty restaurant. Buffet in lido had interesting selections but lido food was almost identical every time we had to eat there.

Onboard Activities

Didn't participate in pool or fitness center. Did do a few trivia in afternoon and one speed Sudoku. Enjoyed watching paper airplane sailing competition. Never saw that before.

Entertainment

Stage shows good but too loud. Had to hold my ears. Enjoyed stringed instruments and steel drum music in atrium. Thought having onboard pop choir was entertaining. Didn't attend The Voice on final night because packing suitcases and going to bed early.

Service and Staff

Especially liked the attention we got from Jumar and Petty on Deck 6 - Anytime dining. Only had Jumar three times but after the first time he remembered my little quirks like water in glass 1/2 full so we could have EmergenC powder in our drink. Also, I only wanted a small amount of coffee at one time because I didn't like lukewarm or cold coffee. I always needed fresh hot coffee. When we sat at Petty's table she asked the names of the people at the table. The next day when she saw me in line to sit down, Petty called me by name. That's a lot of names for her to remember, I would say. Very impressive! We were at her table another time and she asked the other people their names but called us by name without asking us. Enjoyed regular interaction with the maître d' from around Naples, Italy. Forgot his name.

Cabin / Stateroom

It was the largest inside cabin we have ever occupied. We particularly liked the separation of the dressing area and the sleeping area. Beds were soft but comfortable. Cabin was always very clean. Bathroom small especially the shower.

Ship tip

Booking an interior room is more than adequate since you won't be spending much time there except to sleep,

We were 20 minutes behind schedule in getting off the ship. We were able to retreive our luggage immediately and used the services of a porter who helped us manuver a special assistance line in a timely manner.
