Review summary

So I just got off the phone with Princess Cruises. I was charged for someone else's future cruise deposits and told all I can do is send an email to customer relations and they will start an investigation. I am just a little upset at this situation and that I have to start the process after letting them know they made a mistake. This knocks Princess down a few notches...

@golfhacker1 the future cruise deposits don't get charged to your room account and they are charged after the cruise is completed. I was able to contact someone at Princess that would fix the issue. There was not word from the post cruise guys at customer relations though. I told them I would dispute the charges with my credit card company if they didn't fix it right away. I shouldn't have to pay interest on a mistake I didn't make for 3 to 5 weeks while they figure it out.

Did you print out your folio on a daily basis at on of the kiosks? We always check ours to ensure the charges each day are correct and especially the last day before you leave the ship. Any issues we have never had a problem getting it fixed at passenger services.

M I’m sure when the dust clears, you’ll be made whole. Mistakes happen....just really sucks when you’re the one it happens to! Hope this incident didn’t blemish the fun you both had diving Would be nice though if they offered you something for your inconvenience. BTW, it was nice meeting up with you. Too bad we didn’t get a chance to do some excursions as a group.

Princess isn't saying they wont refund it but that they need to research...i get that with credit cards as well. Sure someone misread a cabin # and it was charged to the wrong cabin and therefore wrong card on file...i have no doubt princess will take care of you

Email the corporate office and reach out on social media. That’s not ok and they need to be held reliable.
