Review summary
The cruise to nowhere is a nice break away but I found using the App a bit stressful. I want to lock my phone in the safe and stay off it on holiday but spent the whole time informing my party how many guests were ahead of us in the queue. Some of my comments may sound a bit negative, they may be but we had a lovely time celebrating a family birthday. The cruise is what you make it. Its not like cruising pre covid but I don't suppose it will ever be the same again.Embarkation
Really smooth, took 1 hour from driving into the docks at Southampton to getting on the ship.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
Good quality food but the choices were not great.
Onboard Activities
Little choice of activities, not sure why there wasn't more entertainment outside.
Entertainment
Shows were OK, had seen 2 of the shows and the comedian before. Would have been better if there were new shows to see.
Service and Staff
Service was OK, lack of bar staff around the pools, all staff seemed to be working very hard.
Ship Quality
Got confused when returning to the cabin finding doors in corridor randomly closed, I'm sure there was a reason but it confused the hell out of me.
Cabin / Stateroom
Cabin was well placed and very clean. Cabin is now only serviced once a day, not sure why, I'm more than capable of turning my own bed down but I missed the chocolate on my pillow!
Disembarkation
Very quick and well organised.
