Review summary

We had a great time on board of the Brilliance. I fell down while ashore in Tallinn. Back on board the doctor x-rayed me and discovered I broke my ankle. We still had 7 days of cruising to do. But everything was great: the medical staff treated me daily with kindness and expertise, the crew was so helpful and accommodating and the fellow passengers were sweet and sooo sorry for us. So although our cruise didn’t go as planned we still had a great time. Our kids (16 and 14 years old) loved the ship and had a wonderful time with al their new friends. My husband and I only saw them at dinner, which was the agreement. The rest of the day they could do whatever they wanted to do, and they did 😉. We loved the food. The cabin we had was great, a balcony is soooo terrific. We loved the view cruising through the archipelago of Stockholm. The great thing about the Brilliance are the various bars with all their different kind of places to sit. You never feel crowded or packed even on a sea day.

@PsychoAndBarb @Daghmor the total was $ 850.00 for medical care. Plus $ 240.00 for a rental wheelchair. The medical care is payed by our medical care insurance. The wheelchair not, in the stressful situation my husband forgot to ask for an invoice, so nothing to prove to the insurance company.

@Daghmor consultation is $47.00 Then you pay for medication and equipment. Fortunately our health care insurance is paying for it all. Would we have been on a Royal Caribbean excursion then we wouldn’t have to pay anything. Medical assistance is then included.

Nice ship. So nice that approximately one half of Celebrity's Cruises fleet is based on that design.

Sorry about your ankle but I am so pleased the rest of your trip went well! Your positive attitude, I am sure, helped tremendously. Most people would have let the accident take all the joy out of what they did have👍😎
