Review summary

Great ports of call. Would drop Skagen, Denmark and add Oslo, Norway. Having excellent weather made all the difference in walking and touring the cities.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
We arrived early afternoon to avoid the rush of boarders at 11:30 am. Still had to wait at least an hour to board.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Ate mostly in the Windjammer, which had a wide variety of meals each day. I would suggest cutting down on the amount of sodium used and let guests add their own at the table. Ate at Giovanni’s one evening and found the meal to be mediocre at best. Food in dining hall was better, but we found the service rushed. Not as leisurely as we expected.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Besides the great music in the Centrum, we found the activities to be limited to games of different varieties. Would have appreciated some hands on activities, such as cooking lessons or music appreciation.

Entertainment

4 out of 5

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff were polite and friendly and eager to help.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
I believe this is an older ship, but the carpets had recently been changed, which certainly added to the updated look of the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5

Ship tip

Don’t drop the soap in the extremely small shower. Room had excellent layout with lots of storage space, but the bathroom sink and shower needed to be larger.
