Review summary

We had a wonderful time. We loved the indoor heated pool! We really don't have a negative comment. All the staff did a terrific job and we're always friendly and helpful.

Holland America Westerdam is salt free swimming pool and I went swimming in it. Are you saying all Royal pools are salt water.

The solarium pool was our favorite! We there every night when no one else was there. No need for the hot tub because the pool was warm enough.

Well yes I know that, but the solarium pool is actually an unchlorinated salt water pool.

All cruiseship boats are salt water..they drain them at night for safty reasons then filter the salt water to refill.

If I remember correctly, the indoor heated pool is also salt water.
