Review summary

First off the Staff attitude and Service are exceptional on this RCCL boat. Dining room staff made me feel like I was cruising in the 90's with their personalized service and care for each cruiser. They learn about your needs the first day and make sure they are prepared to address those demands the rest of the cruise. Ports of call are nice. Try and arrange for a semi private tour in St Petersburg with a reputable tour operator there instead of the cruise offered excursions. They can arrange visa's and do not cost much more. But they get you in and out of places a lot faster than the cruise tour operators, which turns into more things that you get to see in the 2 days there! The wine list, while not extensive, was decent for daily drinking and the choice of different British pies at dinner made for good variety if I did not fancy the main offerings. Harwich cruise port is not well organized and it is expensive to get to, so check the transfer prices to make sure you are aware. We rented cars from airport and drove there, same on return with EuropCar, that made it more palatable. As for the embarkation process, be prepared to stand in line after line for at least an hour! This isnt Miami or Ft Lauderdale baby!! Although Disembarkation is a breeze.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food is good but service is exceptional!!

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Some decent folks\, they tried to bring in a couple of headliners that did comedy and sing songs\, but mosst of this did not go well with the diverse set of crusers from various countries! RCCL has to do better to cater to the mutli-national clientele

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
One of the best crews at sea!

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship shows its age in hallways and some public areas

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
If youve been on Oasis class\, this may not be up to par\, but for the size and age of boat\, its good.

Pros: The Ship Staff\, The Ports of Call and the Service

Cons: Age of Ship showing and embarkation in Harwich
