Review summary

I was shocked at how the quality of the food on Royal Caribbean has declined. We choose ships/lines according to itinerary and the last time we cruised we were on Holland America. The quality of the food was so much higher for basically the same price. The Brilliance itself is a pretty ship--lots of windows. The staff was great, just as they are on all cruise lines. I had a steak in the dining room, because the other offerings were uninteresting. It was some pressed-together cafeteria level steak. Inedible. Asking for something like that \"medium rare' is a joke. Several of my party ordered pasta at dinner night after night because it was the only thing on the menu they liked at all. Windjammer was pretty awful too.

as above\, the piano bar was really wonderful! And we liked trivia too. I heard that the comedian was pretty funny. Bingo was a huge waste of money and time. Every player payed $45 for several cards- a huge roomful of several hundred people. The prizes were ridiculous--$160 to split\, $200 to split\, and a cruise for 2 for 3 whole days. ugh. What a profit they make on that!
