Wonderful Cruise

Sail Date: August 25, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The crew was wonderful - always smiling - always efficient and eager to please. The ship was decorated beautifully and well maintained. All food was exceptional - lunch buffet in the Windows Cafe was the most disappointing. Prime C specialty restaurant was superb. Embarkation and Departing were efficient and very quick. We assumed that if we docked at 7:00 a.m. we could easily be off the ship by 8:00 a.m., BUT debarkation began at 9:00 a.m. Take that into consideration when booking a flight home.

Pros: Service, Staff and food.

Cons: Entertainment - seemed lacking

Recommends Azamara Journey (RETIRED)? Yes!

St. George's, Bermuda
Not much to see in St. George. We did take a tram tour of St. George which was very informative, but a little pricey. Ate lunch at a pub - beer was $7.
Hamilton, Bermuda
Best beach was Horseshoe Bay - gets very crowded after 11:00 a.m. I had heard about Hog Penny Restaurant and tried to have lunch there, but we were not appropriately dressed (shorts/shirts/sandals) and they would not seat us.
Don't Miss: EZ-Bike tour - great - snorkeling was OK - not many fish, but lots of sea glass.
