This was our first river cruise but I don't think it will be our last. Everything was super easy and relaxing, felt more like custom/boutique travel than what you get with a large ocean cruise.

So easy and stress free. Shockingly different than an ocean cruise embarkation. Walked right on and in our stateroom within minutes.

Plenty of space for everyone and never "forced" to join in with others. You can have your own private experience and couple time or interact with those around you. The staff were amazing and you get to know them even within a few short days.
Onboard Activities

The ship was small and there weren't many onboard activities. We did appreciate the fitness room and the game room, taking advantage of both. There was one hot tub which we never used as the couple of teens on our ship seemed to always be in it.

We LOVED our room and the ability to open the windows/wall to turn the entire room into a balcony feeling.
Cabin / Stateroom

The bathroom was great - far bigger than most ocean cruises. Bed was comfortable but needs a lighter blanket option, perhaps a flat sheet.
Ship tip
Get the upgraded room, not the lower level. The ability to open it all up was amazing.
We started in this location and explored on our own, not with the ship. We loved it and easy to get around. We did the baths (even the beer bath) and walked the city. We enjoyed the market near the ship as well.
The "hike" excursion was not a hike. I'd likely skip it next time and do the tour of the town. There was nothing physical about this excursion which was disappointing, but the port of call was great.
Also not a "hike", but nice to walk instead of doing a bus even with a bit of rain. The abbey was interesting but I could easily have skipped this stop.
Vienna was our disembarkation site so nothing booked through the ship. We explored on our own and it was a lovely city. We went to the symphony and toured the church.
