Avalon Imagery II overview

One of 2016's two new additions to the youngest fleet on Europe's waterways, the Imagery II continues all of Avalon's outstanding Suite Ship traditions. Passengers can choose from two full decks of Panorama Suites, featuring Wall-to-Wall Panoramic Windows that transform the living space into a unique Open-Air Balcony. At a spacious 200 square feet, Panorama Suites are more than 30% larger than the industry standard, affording the incomparable opportunity to awaken each morning facing the splendid passing scenery.
Onboard amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi access, an expanded Fitness Center, an elevator, alternative light dining options in the Panorama Bistro or al fresco grill lunch at the Sky Bistro, and an expansive Sky Deck with whirlpool, premium lounge chairs, a shade system, and deck games.

Beautiful Rhine River Cruise by jkellydavis777

This was my 3rd cruise and my first river cruise. I throughly enjoyed it. The leg down the Moschelle river was particularly beautiful with the vineyards along the river bank hills. The food was a pleasant surprise. Portion size was great and I don't think I had a bad dish. I even tried the vegetarian options a couple of nights and they were delicious! I can't say enough good things about the staff. They were all very attentive. I enjoyed my excursions with Igor the Adventure host.

Low water in Rhine severely impacted cruise by arnie24

Low water causing aborting of middle cruise was very disappointing. Avalon did the best they could to arranging alternative land facilities and transportation and were generous with 50% refund of cruise fare.

Loved the casual,relaxed atmosphere. The crew was wonderful and our cruise director was as great. Excursions were fun.Fantastic food.

You don't need formal or semi-formal dress-up clothes for dinner. You can buy wine, etc on excursions and bring it back on the boat to drink in your room. The ship provides umbrellas to use in case of rain, so no need to pack one.
