I loved this trip!  It was clearly NOT as beautiful of a river as the Danube but we visited so many beautiful little towns.  There was only the small portion of the Rhine that was beautiful and the remainder was industrial--which was a disappointment after being able to hang out on top during the sailing days to enjoy the scenery. The tours were great and very informative with excellent guides.  Guides were knowledgeable (sometimes maybe a little too much) and enthusiastic about their town and spoke English proficiently.  Isaella was superb and on top of everything.  The reception staff was very helpful (Dia) and friendly as was the food service personnel (Gary).

the stateroom was smaller than our previous Avalon room but was satisfactory.  the bed was comfortable and I love the amenities.  The food was okay--sometimes great and sometimes not so great. 

river cruises is are great because no lines, small amount of guests, small crew and free bear and wine and tours are part of the package. The service is better and the crew is great

We had an amazing time. It was our first river cruise. We have been on many ocean cruises and I was worried that my husband would get bored on the ship with not a lot going on. It wasn't the case. We met some great people and enjoyed visiting with them and of course him bringing his cigars with him helped also. We would definitely consider another river cruise.

We had a great week on the Rhine, and loved all the stops.  Tour guides were amazing!  Food was good and staff very attentive.  Would definitely recommend this cruise, and we are looking forward to another trip next year!  Also loved the smaller groups.

The excursions were great.  The guides were all very knowledgeable and fluent in English.  No one had any trouble understanding any of them.  The excursions were very well organized and the groups were never too large.  The ship was nice and well maintained.  The lounge was comfortably arranged as was the dining room.  The other guests on the ship were pleasant and fun to be with.  All of the crew made you feel special and appreciated.  The food was delicious, the menu varied, and the dishes always well presented.  I particularly liked that I was able to select my flights to and from the U.S.A. at the time of booking.
