Review summary

One interesting problem that I encountered was that I couldn't find a place where there wasn't music playing. I simply wanted to relax and read a book, but there wasn't a place on the ship that didn't have a speaker with music playing. I eventually found one spot inside the ship (besides my cabin) and that was my go-to place.

Entertainment

Everything was excellent except that I thought the musical We Will Rock You was not really appropriate for a cruise ship. (It was also extremely loud.) I enjoy musicals a lot and grew up in the 70s, so some of the music was of my era, but the attire of the actors and some of the themes were not really appropriate for families. One woman was walking into the musical with a young daughter but left after hearing that it was not appropriate for families. Just FYI.

Service and Staff

The waiter Vincent was exceptionally attentive to us, did a fabulous job and even learned our names the first night and remembered them throughout the cruise!

Cabin / Stateroom

I loved the cabin (interior stateroom for four people) but my kids had a hard time sleeping on the pull-out couch. It seemed to be too small/short for them. Also, the tv screen with the image of the porthole view was not working properly and would flash bright green every 10 seconds for about 5 seconds. We eventually asked the attendant to turn the screen off.

The terminal was great, getting through Newark was a bit scary.
