Review summary
This was our second cruise on the Anthem of the Seas. It is a great ship. The staff is all very friendly and accommodating. We ate in the main dining room - late seating - our waiter and assistant waiter were very attentive. They catered to our needs and wants and remembered all our preferences.
The entertainment was spectacular. We particularly enjoyed the Broadway show "We Will Rock You" and Spectra's Cabaret. Great music and dancing. We also enjoyed the Headliners - fun comedians and musicians.
We had sailed to all the ports on previous cruises but there is always something new to see. We enjoyed the tour of Sint Maarten and St. Martin - both the Dutch and French sides - saw a lot and learned a lot. Stayed in the Royal Naval Yard in Bermuda and checked out the stores; in old San Juan, wandered the stores. Labadee is the cruise lines resort and has nice beaches. The weather was sunny and hot except for Labadee when there was a bit of rain. Also in Labadee, the ship provided a fabulous BBQ lunch in Labadee.
There were two formal nights, which we enjoy but fellow passengers that didn't want to dress up had other places to eat.
There was a tour on the ship of the galleys. It was fun to go behind the scenes and then sit down to a special lunch.
I also got a kick out of the robotic bartenders in the Bionic Bar. Fun to watch. And they make your drink to order as long as you put in the right ingredients.
All in all, it was a special cruise.

Ship tip
We made reservations for the entertainment prior to the cruise so we got to see everything. One other thing: looking for a place to relax that is less crowded in the afternoon: try Two70 in the stern. Comfortable seats; a bar and food.
