Review summary

Getting on the ship was smooth, our room was ready and our steward Rose was great! There was so much too see, we didn't get a chance to see it all, we will be booking for next year this week. I loved all the different pictures in the elevators, (cool idea), I was only able to get about a 1/4 of them (pics). My 2 complaints are the following - the casino, there is no "non-smoking" area, this ship seemed to have a small area where there were no smokers (not indicated, but the video poker machines were $1 and up...Loved that they did have "let it ride" tables which before the casino opened it said $5 min, once it opened, it was $10(I have a picture)... And 2nd - We were not able to get any pictures unless we paid $169 for 10 of them, that is not nice!!!I love RCCL, always recommend them. Oh yeah the shows were great (I didn't see Spectra).

I was very happy with my cabin, I was a little concerned with the way the headboard setup is, but it was fine. Our room steward Rose was so pleasant!

Definitely book all your shows before sailing.

I agree with you regarding lack of quarter machines. Hubby doesn't smoke so he had to play the dollar ones as well. I bought 4 of the ones I REALLY liked...too expensive. All in all I hope you had a great time, I know you were looking forward to it.

To Kim: I figured that was the non smoking, (which was in my comment), but they had no quarter video poker, even though I didn't do bad on the dollar machine. And regarding the pictures, I was not about to $169 for 10 pictures... On all the other ships they had the prints out there, if you wanted to to buy anymore, then you did...

I was able to pick the pictures I wanted to buy no problem. The very beginning of the casino is no smoking...you walked through it to the smoking part.

Sorry, I was not about to pay for the picture package, we got really good pictures on our own, I'm surprised at Royal for doing that... (This is the only ship I've seen this on)

I saw the shows and didn't think they were so great. Except maybe "we will rock you ". The games , quest and name that tune, were more entertaining than the shows.
