Review summary

My favorite part of the cruise was the evening shows. The dining experience was very disappointing. I think they should go back to the old days of cruising with designated dining rooms. There were definitely staffing issues in the restaurants. Also the menu were too similar in the complimentary restaurants.

I loved the dynamic dining. There were different menus for the different themed restaurants. They did offer the classic menus that were offered in all restaurants also. Now it'll be gone 😢

We are going on the Anthem on Nov. 27th. I do not like the dinning change. The idea of the four different restaurants was the main reason we Liked Quantum class. People complained but these are the same people who waited until the last minute to make reservations. We booked this Cruise about a year and a half ago and made our dinner reservation in Feb. with no problems.

Wow really confused about the changes to dynamic dining come Nov 27th. I'm sailing Dec 9th. I had heard from someone last year the menus were already the same between the 4 free resturants. And now they are saying 2 are set time and the other 2 are flexible. Also bringing back formal nights instead of grande being the formal resturant. So I guess you will either be in the set of 2 fixed time resturants or the 2 flexible. But never both sets? Of course not counting the upscale resturants..

That is a terrible idea in my opinion. I've really enjoyed the varying menus and cuisines with each restaurant. The food with the exception of The Grande has been outstanding!

Love that the Anthem of the Seas will no longer have Dynamic Dining. We have Classic Dining at 6:00 pm on our Jan. sailing. Will be seated In either Chic or Grande restaurant. All 4 restaurants will have the same menu and an upgrade in their food offerings. Also will have My Timing Concept. This begins on the Nov 27 Sailing. I read this article on Cruise Critic.

Yes, so glad Dynamic Dining will not be on the Anthem in Jan. We have early seating and all 4 restaurants will have the same menus. Anthem will also offer My Timing for dinner on the Nov. 27 sailing. Crisis Critic posted the article. Thanks RCI.
