Review summary

Overall this cruise experience was fabulous. I had never traveled on an American small ship before. Comparing to the ocean vessels and the European river ships, this far exceeded my expectation. Thank you American Symphony

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The main dinning room was beautiful and the food very good. The food in the Sky Lounge was very good also. Appetizers at the cocktail hour were different every evening.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I participated in the watercolor classes, lectures on the Civil War, cocktail hour, and the after dinner entertainment.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
For a small ship, the entertainment each evening was excellent. There was a variety from piano, jazz and blue grass concerts, comedy and dancing.

Children's Programs

No children activities.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I loved the staff. All of them were so accommodating and so nice! The waiters, stewards, activity and excursion directors made an effort to know everyone's names.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship is new. Every place was clean and well taken care of. They decorated for Thanksgiving in the common areas. Fun!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was amazing: large, big sliding doors to balcony, plenty of storage, super bathroom.

Ship tip

Get to know as many passengers and staff as possible. You'll make new friends and smile a lot.
