Worse Cruise of my life. by clsweene

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Tried to enjoy a 30 + family cruise, which turned into a nightmare. Guest from our cruise, got kicked off in PR. Daughter was injured in elevator by rude guest of another family member and no security camera on board in the elevator and nothing done to the person who assaulted my 15 year old daughter. Security and guest services gave terrible customer service. Indecent exposure- Adult men, pulling down their pants down and peeing in the pool and exposing kids to their behavior. Long lines for food, gave away table for dinner, waited 2 hours to receive dinner first night, deck is slippery and causes you to fall, Supposed to make reservation for shows, but they don't check you in so all guest attend and it filled up and would not let people with reservations to have a seat. Hand held dogs at the buffet, which was unsanitary . I will be writing my full page letter to corp with so much more detail and problems that went on during the trip. C. Sweeney

Very busy but also very fun by jillc1979

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

My sister got married on the ship and it was a great ceremony. However, I believe that the photographer for the wedding was extremely overpriced. They should have had more package options available for them.

Great family vacation by LotsaCruises

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Great cruise and excellent service from the waiters and dining room staff. Cabin steward was exceptional. St. Martin was still recovering from Hurricane Irma but was still a enjoyable stop. Labadee is always a great beach destination.

High Expectations, Even Higher Disappointments by emygd4

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

My room attendant was extremely rude to us and didn't clean well. When we reported it to management he refused to greet or speak to us the rest of the trip. At the dining room we were treated great the first visit but the second and third visits were horrible and we got up both times and left our meals. This ship is EXTREMELY disorganized in most areas I came across. They know it is too, as managment agreed with me on that point. I don't know why the executives don't step in and fix this problem. I'm spending my money somewhere else from now on and so should you. You may also need new tech guys to update your app and make it more user friendly. Like have an option to show all activities listed chronologically per day so you don't click on activities that already passed or don't happened for a few days.

Very nice...not fantastic by leavertostever

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Ship was pretty well organized and everything ran smoothly for a boat that size....However, Pools were too small and way to crowded! Food was just ok. Drinks were ridiculously high! $13 for pina coladas. $15 for a margarita...etc. Solarium was nice, but very warm with no breeze. More kids on board than Carnival! Need more fun and organized on ship activities: talent shows, belly flop contests, trivia contests etc... and better MCs to run them. ours were all pretty lame. and inexperienced.

Never felt overcrowded and the service and politeness was the best I have ever experienced. Wait staff (Sydney & Avinash) 5:30 (Reservation)servers were the best I have ever had. Would love to do this same cruice over again! So organized...I was impressed.

It was great but I wasnt "wowed" by Cruiser67196147

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

We really enjoyed our cruise. The staff was excellent, food was hit or miss (though the specialty restaurants were awesome), drinks were awesome (especially the Margarita Azul) Shows were meh. We could take it or leave it Though we had an awesome time, we have no desire to book another Allure of the Seas cruise.

Ship board service excellent by ahweston

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Had to use medical facility, but billing did not show on summary of expenses. A separate billing to my credit card only showed on my email after I returned home and that didn't define the two items billed. Otherwise, medical support was fine.

Good Times on the Allure by 2DogsRUs

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

We enjoyed all aspects of the cruise. We primarily took advantage of the free dining options and had no regrets. The two speciality dining options were excellent and worth the added premium. Our room was spacious and the steward kept it clean without ever impacting us. The days at port were very organized making getting on and off the ship seamless.

Amazing time! by concorer2000

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

We went on the Allure of the Seas for our first 35th Anniversary and had a wonderful time. They made one of the nights a special anniversary night at dinner and that was excellent. The food is great, the service is great, the entertainment is great, and the accommodations are great.

Allure of the Seas is Awesome! by ohshipmate

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Ports were awesome! Loved them all. Embarkation was fairly quick. Get there early and you will get on early. Disembarkation- even though we had done the Mobile Passport, they made us go into a regular line where we had to dig out our passports. Even though we told him we had the mobile app, he said that was the first two lines only. So, why were we told to go into this line after we got into the Mobile App line to begin with? Took longer than it should because we were put into the regular wait line with those who didnt have the app.
