We chose this cruise for a quick getaway after a couple of stressful, high demand months of work. We really enjoyed ourselves and are so glad we got to try out Oasis class. Although this ship has not been amplified, there is still plenty to do. The ship is laid out pretty well and getting around wasn’t difficult at all. Central Park is beautiful and the Boardwalk offers a Coney Island type of feel. The Solarium is really nice, we enjoyed it up there as well. The specialty dining was very good and the service even better. Bar service throughout the ship was top notch. Our cabin steward was very attentive and made sure our room was set for us each day. We recommend a cruise on the Allure.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We have done three previous cruises with Royal Caribbean and literally walked right on. This was the first time we experienced going into a holding type of area to wait, although the wait wasn’t very long so I just attributed this to the amount of people this ship holds so it was not a big deal to us.

Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We went with the unlimited dining plan because we got a really good deal on it so we ate at 150 Central Park, Giovanni‘s table and Samba Grill. I would recommend all three of them, they were all very enjoyable. We did try Park Café for some grab and go had breakfast at Johnny Rockets, which was really good. We had never done that before so glad we got to experience that. We hit the buffet once for breakfast. It was ok but the layout is not great and it can bottleneck in some areas around the food stations.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Plenty of offerings on the Oasis class. Mini golf, rock climbing, pools, flow riders etc…
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The Aqua Show was incredible. The coolest thing I have seen on a cruise ship. The comedians were really good we saw in the Amber Theater. Mamma Mia was long but entertaining.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The staff on Royal are really top notch in our opinion. From the cabin stewards to the bar tenders to the wait staff. We always have a great experience on our Royal cruises.

Ship tip
Book specialty dining and show reservations as soon as the windows open up this is a very large ship with upwards of 6000 people. It didn’t ever feel too crowded. However, reservations will fill up quickly.
Not too bad, although it was a little bit bottlenecked trying to get off the ship. This is probably attributed to the amount of people on this ship however, in our previous experiences, we have literally walked right off without any line.
