Review summary

Everywhere was very loud and it’s tiring. 90-something decibel ship announcements by the pool made my head hurt. There are no quiet loungers in the top deck and lots of small “neighborhoods” instead of any large outdoor space. We benefited from a cousins in a Genie-class suite and didn’t have to wait to embark/disembark. The food was great but the specialty dining takes about 2.5 hours and that’s too much for kids.

Onboard Activities

The cruise director announcements (and other spoken messages) on the pool deck were painfully loud. My Apple Watch measured it around 95-97 decibels. Adults and children were holding their ears.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
We loved the ice show and disliked the Blue Planet show

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
It’s designed for big kids. There was almost nothing for a toddler.
