Main dining is incredible. Try Johnny Rocket’s. That said, the all-day buffet at Windjammer leaves much to be desired. The layout is congested and pales in comparison to the same space on NCL’s newer ships.

Aqua theatre was incredible! That said, the headliner comedian was awful - we left after 10 minutes. He literally had to make jokes about the audience not laughing at his jokes. Just awful. Also, while the dancing and set for Mamma Mia were great, they sang to a background track and vocals. As theatre folk, we were not impressed by that. I’d rather hear imperfection and know it’s authentic

Just wonderful! Great to see some of our service staff friends from our same cruise on Allure 6 months prior.

Cabin / Stateroom

I love the Central Park view. Don’t expect different from a traditional room though. It’s the same, but with a balcony and view.

Ship tip

Book a Central Park balcony, but lower on the ship. Too high of a floor puts you with a birds eye view of the pool (and they can see you too. Haha!) Also, skip the headliner as long as he’s on the ship. Not great at all.

Glad you had a good time. The Allure is a fantastic ship. Food in MDR absolutely delicious. Park Cafe was great for lunch. They had yummy salads and their famous prime rib sandwiches along with lots of other food. No charge! Also breakfast in the MDR was wonderful as you can order off the menu and go to the buffet they have with it. We enjoyed the whole beauutiful ship.

Was on Allure in April. Loved everything about including Mama Mia....on Allure again in October. Had oceanview balcony....

I've only seen one REALLY good comedian on a cruise. His name is Derrick Cameron. We saw him on Princess but he also does RC and maybe others. I hope our paths cross again someday.
