Review summary

My wife and I took a kid-less anniversary cruise and had an amazing time. We had our ports changed. It took us to Coco Cay that had the best cheese sticks ever and San Juan with all kinds of fun stuff around each corner. Try Limbers!

Embarkation

4 out of 5
It’s embarkation, so not a ton of fun here. It went fine. There was a little confusion about where to go and what was needed, but everything turned out fine.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Great food from the MDR. I have some allergies that I told the wait staff about and they went above and beyond with the chefs.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
My wife did the zip line and it was a fun, short ride. We watched some folks on the Flow Rider. The casino was a quick cash drop, but we did see one lady win $14,000. Bingo was more expensive than we cared to pay. One thing to note on this boat was the WiFi was horrible. It’s the worst I’ve ever experienced on a boat.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Every show was great. Our favorite was the aqua theatre. We went to watch it twice. The ice skating show was one of the best I’ve seen on water. The comedy acts were all a blast. I don’t like musicals and even enjoyed Mama Mia.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone in the dining area and our room attendant was amazing. Guest services was hit or miss.

Ship tip

Book shows early. If you can connect to the WiFi in the port, you can get a head start. Be familiar with the app for a much more pleasant experience.

We stopped at Timothy’s Hill. It was beautiful and we got to meet Edward The Monkey.

Take the water taxi for $7. It’s well worth it.
